20-Chai: A Year of Transformation

Nafshenu is proud to announce an opportunity to be transformed in 2018. Beginning in February, we will be holding the first cohort of our men's and women's "Foundational Life Groups," led by Rabbi Larry and Becky Sernovitz. Judaism has much to say about life and living. These groups will focus on helping you to make the most out of life and inspire you to live each day to the fullest.

Want to feel more organized and successful? Want to strengthen and reinforce the relationships in your life? With your spouse? With your kids? With your friends? In your workplace? In just eight weeks, these foundational groups will give you access to 3000 years of Jewish wisdom and infuse your life with meaning and purpose.

What do these Foundational Life Groups entail? What will be required of me?

  • Each group will meet in person once a week: the Men's Group will meet Wednesday nights from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm; the Women's Group will meet on Sundays from 9:00 am-10:30 am. Each participant will receive a book and supplemental material.
  • Each participant will get a "friend" in the group. You and your "friend" will check in at least once a week with each other. You can share with each other what's going on in your lives as well as discuss the question/theme of the week.
  • You will be connected to all group members through a mobile app. Group chats will be enabled throughout the duration of the eight weeks to facilitate ongoing communication, the sharing of successes, and the ability to work through issues.
  • For eight weeks, you will attend Shabbat services with your group on Saturday mornings.
  • Each week, you will make at least an $18 donation to Nafshenu. This will cover all materials and class preparation.

Don't let excuses keep you from making a significant difference in your life. Success is only achieved with commitment and discipline. Sign up today!

*Your registration is not complete without an initial $18 donation. Please go to to make your donation.
